About Us

The National Foundation for Australia-China Relations (NFACR) and Centre for Contemporary China Studies (CCCS) at the University of Melbourne jointly hosted the  ”My Study And Life in Australia ” short video contest in 2022. This contest invites all Chinese students who have studied or are currently studying in Australian universities to record and share their stories, with an aim to deepen mutual understanding between Chinese and Australian people.

This competition has received hundreds of extraordinary entries from all across Australia and China. The themes covered by submitted videos include but are not limited to the academic experience, engagement with the broader Australian society, personal/social life, living experiences, and students’ sense of personal maturation, gains, and growth during their Australian study journey.

After several rounds of reviews from 7 professional judges, a total of 50 works were eventually selected for honour. “My Study And Life in Australia” short video contest has a total cash prize of AUD 10,000, among which the first prize winner will receive AUD 2,000, two first runners-up will each receive AUD 1,500, and three second runners-up will each receive AUD 1,000.
