Introduction

The National Foundation for Australia-China Relations (NFACR) and Centre for Contemporary China Studies (CCCS) at the University of Melbourne jointly hosted the  ”My Study And Life in Australia ” short video contest in 2022. This contest invites all Chinese students who have studied or are currently studying in Australian universities to record and share their stories, with an aim to deepen mutual understanding between Chinese and Australian people.

This competition has received hundreds of extraordinary entries from all across Australia and China. The themes covered by submitted videos include but are not limited to the academic experience, engagement with the broader Australian society, personal/social life, living experiences, and students’ sense of personal maturation, gains, and growth during their Australian study journey.

本次大赛收到了数百条来自澳洲各州和国内各地的选手们投稿的作品。作品内容包含了澳洲学习经历、澳洲社会风貌、生活经历,以及出国留学带来的个人成长与收获等等。

After several rounds of reviews from 7 professional judges, a total of 50 works were eventually selected for honour. “My Study And Life in Australia” short video contest has a total cash prize of AUD 10,000, among which the first prize winner will receive AUD 2,000, two first runners-up will each receive AUD 1,500, and three second runners-up will each receive AUD 1,000.

七名专家构成的评审团共评选出五十部优秀作品。本次大赛奖金共计一万澳元,其中一等奖一名,奖金两千澳元,二等奖两名,奖金各一千五百澳元,三等奖三名,奖金各一千澳元。
